The short version
Use the sounds in your music. Do not resell the sounds themselves. That is the whole idea; everything below is the same thing said precisely.
What you can do
- Use the samples, loops, MIDI and presets in your own tracks, commercial or not.
- Release those tracks anywhere — streaming platforms, labels, vinyl, whatever comes next.
- Play them in DJ sets and live performances.
- Use them in paid client work, as part of an original production.
- Keep the files. The licence does not expire and there is nothing to renew.
What you cannot do
- Resell, share, give away or redistribute the sounds themselves, in any format.
- Upload them to a sample library, a subscription service or a file-sharing site.
- Release a sound as-is, unedited, as your own sample pack, preset pack or loop kit.
- Register the isolated sounds with a content-ID system, which would flag other producers who bought the same pack.
- Claim authorship of the sound design itself.
Who holds the licence
The licence is granted to one person or one company — whoever bought it — and cannot be transferred. A studio buys one licence per person who will use the files.
Ownership
AlbaMuzikk keeps ownership of the sounds. You own your track. No royalties are owed on anything you release, ever.
Refunds
Digital files cannot be returned once downloaded, so sales are final. If a file is corrupted, missing or not what the product page described, write to us and we fix it or refund it.
Questions
If something here is unclear, ask before you release. A one-line email is cheaper than a takedown.
